" Changing the covers
Before changing the Nokia Xpress-
on"" covers, always switch off the
phone and disconnect it from the
charger or any other device .
Always store the phone with the
covers attached . Read carefully
"Care and maintenance" on page
28 .
Press the locking catch (1), slide the
cover (2), and lift it off the phone
(3).
2. Gently pull the cover of the phone
starting from the bottom of the
phone (4) .

with
the top of the front cover and push
the phone towards the cover until
it locks into place (5).

Insert the two catches of the back
cover in the corresponding slots in
the phone (6) and slide the cover
until it locks into place (7).

To use the number when abroad :
the + character (press

~wice) and country code in front of
the area code (remove the leading

if necessary) .

earpiece volume .
J. Press 0(End) to finish the call
(or to cancel the call attempt) .
Making a call with Phone
book
In standby mode, press rJ (Menu)
and then C-~ (Select) twice. Key in
the first letter of the name and press
<-=) (OK) . Scroll with O or © to the
desired name (press and hold O for
the related number) and press
(call) .
Alternatively: Press © in standby
mode . Find the desired name and
press C - = ) (Call) .

To rediaI one of the last 20 phone
numbers you have called or
attempted to call : Press O once in
standby mode, scroll with O or 10
to the desired phone number or name,
and press <:~) (Call) .
Speed dialling
To call a phone number that you have
assigned to a speed dialling key using
the Speed diolsfunction of the Phone
book menu (see page 12) : Press the
given key (~ to ~) and then
QE) (Call) in standby mode .
Alternatively : If the Speed
dialliny
function (see page 20) is on, press and
hold the speed dialling key until the
call is started .
To answer the call, press Q~)
(Answer) . To divert or reject the call,
press ©.
