FRONT FORK INSPECTION/
FRONT FORK ADJUSTMENT
2. Check:
S Inner tube 1
Scratches /Bent/Damage ! Replace.
S Oil seal
Excessive oil leakage ! Replace.
3. Hold the motorcycle in an upright position and
apply the front brake.
4. Check:
S Operation
Pump the front fork up and down for several
times.
Unsmooth operation ! Repair.
Refer to "FRONT FORK" in CHAPTER 7.
FRONT FORK ADJUSTMENT
S Always adjust each fork to the same setting.
Uneven adjustment can cause poor handling
and loss of stability.
S Securely support the motorcycle so there is
no danger of it falling over.

Turn the adjuster 1 in or out.

CAUTION:
S Grooves are provided to show the adjusting
level.
S Always keep the adjustment level equal on
both forks.
S Never turn the adjuster beyond the maximum
or minimum setting.
