Condensate trap
In addition to insulating the exhaust
duct, we recommend installing a con‐
densate trap to collect and evaporate
any condensate which might accumu‐
late.
Condensate traps are available for ex‐
haust ducts with a diameter of 5"
(125 mm) or 6" (150 mm).
When installing a condensate trap,
make sure that it is positioned verti‐
cally and, if possible, directly above
the hood outlet duct collar.
The arrow on the housing indicates
the direction of airflow.
