Administration scenarios
Adding, removing, and replacing HiPath BizIP tele-
phones
During initial installation, all BizIP 410 telephones are automatically detect-
ed and added to the HiPath BizIP network.
If you wish to remove or replace telephones while the system is running,
follow the described procedure to ensure that your HiPath BizIP continues
to operate correctly.
Adding a telephone
1. Connect the new telephone
The telephone is automatically assigned the next available internal
phone number.
2. Select System-wide Settings > Device Management
(click Refresh Device List if required). The new telephone is displayed
in the list:
You can now make internal calls.
3. Select Connectivity Settings > Telephony > ISDN and configure the
ISDN phone number for the new telephone
4. Select Connectivity Settings > Telephony > VoIP Call Manage-
ment and configure the Internet telephony phone number for the new
telephone

5. Under Phone Settings, select the new telephone and under User
Name for the telephone, enter a user name for the display

figured.
