Setting LAN interfaces for the telephone

interfaces on the BizIP 410 telephone (ports
This is necessary, for example, if the switch used in the HiPath BizIP-LAN
requires a particular transmission speed or the wiring of the network does
not permit other values.

Your HiPath BizIP is already configured for standard use. Only
change these values slightly in the event of problems with the auto-
matic negotiation of transmission speed.
Select the data transmission rate for the LAN Port 1 (LAN):
– Auto (automatic detection recommended).
– 10 Mb/s Full Duplex
– 10 Mb/s Half Duplex
– 100 Mb/s Full Duplex
– 100 Mb/s Half Duplex
These settings should also be used for LAN Port 2 (PC).
The standard interface for your HiPath BizIP telephones is the
LAN Port 1 (LAN). LAN Port 2 (PC) is only used if you use the
mini-switch integrated in the telephone
