Manage Abnormal Disks
A disk that is not recognized as "PASSED" by S.M.A.R.T. check may have unexpected
failures anytime. However, it will still continue recording until it finally fails.
After you disabled the recording on this disk and review important recordings,
1. Turn off the device.
2. Replace the abnormal disk with a new one, and turn on the device.
3. Go to Live screen, click Setup click Maintenance tab click "Storage", and click
"Format" to format the new disk.

1. On "Storage" page, select the
disk and click "Disable" next to
Recordable status to stop the
system from saving recording
into it.
2. Watch playback and export
important video / system log.
