Replacing the Halogen Bulb
•
Unscrew the retaining ring around the lens.
•
Remove the lens.
•
Pull out the reflective lens cone, enabling access to the bulb.
•
Disconnect the spade connector.
•
Unclip the spring clip
•
Pull out the bulb (IMPORTANT: Do not touch the glass of the bulb, handle
by the base only)
•
If necessary, clean glass with methylated spirits and a soft cloth.
Battery Replacement & Removal
•
The lead-acid battery in this spotlight has a normal service life of many
years. When the battery does expire, it should be removed from the
spotlight for recycling. Please contact your local solid waste authority for
recycling information.
•
To access the battery, unscrew the retaining ring around the lens.
•
Underneath is a bracing plate with four corner screws. Remove these
screws.
•
Remove battery and switch assembly from flashlight housing.
•
Slide back plastic protectors from battery terminals.
•
Use the screwdriver to depress the tabs on the battery terminals. The
wires are reattachable.
