Introduction
Congratulations on your selection of the Induction Dynamics® S1.8T 3-way tower
loudspeaker. The S1.8T is engineered for smooth performance and very high power handling.
The S1.8T incorporates exclusive, patented S4X® crossover and driver-control technology,
which makes possible virtually perfect integration of drivers which are ideal for their intended
frequencies. S4X also provides greatly increased control over frequency response, phase,
and impedance, resulting in superior performance and imaging. Because of S4X technology,
any of Induction Dynamics' speakers can be used to build a custom home theater system.
Your S1.8T can be combined with any of our center and surround speakers, be they in-wall,
on-wall, or free-standing. For more details on S4X technology, see the "speaker information"
section of this manual.
Your S1.8T incorporates dual 6.5" Kevlar cone woofers with rubber surrounds and cast
frames, a 3" soft dome midrange, and a 1.125" inverted titanium dome tweeter.
