Security Features for Data Services
Enabling and Disabling Data Services
You can disable data services without turning off your phone;
however, you will not have access to all data services, including Web
and messaging. Disabling data services will avoid any charges
associated with such services. While signed out, you can still place or
receive phone calls, check voicemail, and use other voice services.
You may enable data services again at any time.
To disable data services:
1.
Press Menu, scroll to Settings, and press Select.
2.
Scroll to Internet and press Select.
3.
To sign out, scroll to Disable service and press Select. (A
message will display explaining that you will not have access to
data services while disabled. Pressing Continue signs you out.)
To enable data services:
1.
Press Menu, scroll to Settings, and press Select.
2.
Scroll to Internet and press Select.
3.
To sign in, scroll to Enable service and press Select. (The
browser will launch.)
