Preparation
Before searching for customer events:
•
Data devices need to be connected and assigned to a serial port on a Rapid Eye
Multi-Media unit.
•
A View operator needs to know how to identify the rule (string of text) of the event.
Purpose
View can be used to search for messages from devices/systems external to the Multi-Media
hardware, such as: cash registers, door access sensors, a guest registration system, and
so on. Recorded video can be obtained from the time of the message.

Enter the data to be searched for and a date/time range.

Click Start.
