5. Next, in the menu tree, navigate to Diagnostics/Monitor.
6. Turn on conveyor, run a box with a readable barcode past the barcode scanner.
7. Check the Monitor to make sure the barcode on the box is being read. If you see a no
read (the barcode doesn't read on the box), double check your physical measurements
you entered in the PackTrack Calibration Wizard, and enter them again.

5.6.6 PackTrack Validation with DLog View

1. In the User Interface, navigate to Global Settings | Messaging | Diagnostic Messages.
2. Under PackTrack Messages, select the PackTrack Debug Message Enable check
box. This allows the PackTrack data to be sent out of the Ethernet or Serial port live to
the DLog View program.
NOTE: This data can also be saved as a text file for off-line evaluation.
3. Navigate to Global Settings | Ethernet | User Sockets.
4. Select one of the available six sockets to transmit the PackTrack data. When selected,
record the Socket Configuration Type and Port number.
5. Navigate to Global Settings | Messaging | Diagnostic Messages.
6. Under PackTrack Messages, select the PackTrack Debug Message Enable check
box.
7. From the PackTrack Debug Message Enable drop-down box, select the socket that
was selected in step 4 above.
