Connection settings
Select Options > Settings > Connection.
Change connection settings — Select Network connection and the desired
connection. To use the default connection defined in your device connection
settings, select Default connection.
Set the device to notify you when your home network is not available — To
receive a warning when your device is trying to connect to another network, select
Roaming warning > On.
Chat
About Chat
Select Menu > Applications > IM.
With Chat (network service), you can exchange instant messages with your friends.
If you do not have a chat account, you can create a Nokia account, and use Nokia's
Ovi Chat.
You can leave Chat running in the background while you use other features of your
device, and still be notified of new instant messages.
The Chat application may be preinstalled on your device. If it is not, download and
install it from Nokia's Ovi Store.
Using network services and downloading content to your device may result in data
traffic costs.
Start chatting
Select Menu > Applications > IM.
1. Select the service or services that you want to use to chat, and then select
Continue.
You can sign in to and chat in several services at the same time. You need to
separately sign in to each service.
2. In your contacts list, select the contact you want to chat with.
