USB Configuration

The items in this menu allow you to change the USB-related features.
The USB Devices item shows the auto-detected values. If no USB device is detected, the
item shows None.

Once the xHCI driver has been detected, the USB 3.0 mode will be
supported during both POST and operating system.
xHCI controller will be enabled and run at USB 3.0 mode when the xHCI
driver is installed in the operating system.
Enables the xHCI controller.
Disables the xHCI controller.
The USB 3.0 devices can be used for the BIOS setup only and cannot be
recognized in the boot devices list.
Support USB 3.0 devices in legacy operating systems (OS).
The system will automatically detect the presence of USB 3.0 devices at
startup. If any USB 3.0 device is detected, the xHCI legacy support will be
enabled.
The USB 2.0 devices can be used only for the BIOS setup only and cannot
be recognized in the boot devices list.
Support USB 2.0 devices in legacy operating systems (OS).
The system will automatically detect the presence of USB 2.0 devices at
startup. If any USB 2.0 device is detected, the xHCI legacy support will be
enabled.
