Erasing a folder/album/track
- Erase function
Keeping only precious tracks or tracks you often
play back saves your HDD space.
Example: Erasing track B.

Press (SZLiFGZ) repeatedly to select
"HDD."
Press the R dial repeatedly to display
the desired name list.
Each time you press the R dial, the list display
changes as follows:
Albm~~ name list -
Track name list +
Normal playback display -
Album name list
Rotate the R dial to select the item you
want to erase, then press m.
Rotate
the R dial to select "Erase,"
then press the R dial.
The confirmation dialog appears.
Rotate the R dial to select "OK," then
press the R dial.
Press (T22 (AI).
The normal playback display appears.
Creating a fofder again
If all the custom folders on the HDD have been
erased, you cannot select "HDD" as the source.
In this case, create a new folder on the HDD.
Press the R dial to display the source
list
Rotate the R dial to select "HDD," then
press m.
Rotate the R dial to select "b
Create,"
then press the R dial.
Enter the name.

Rotate the R dial to select "OK," then
press the R dial.
Note
The erased cofltents are temporari/y saved in the
Recyde Bin fo/derz
/n the event that you choose not to permanently eras;
an item in the Ricyc/e Bin fo/der, it ban be moved from
the Recycle Bin (page 32).
Contents erased from the Recycle Bin are
permanent/y erased from the HDD.
Once you erase the item, you cannot restore it. Make
sure the item you want to erase before erasing.
To cancel erasing
Select "Cancel," then press the R dial in step S
