Using "MG Memory Stick"
Transferring a track to an
"MG Memory Stick"

You can transfer music data recorded on the
HDD on this unit to an "MG Memory Stick."

When using an "MG Memory Stick," set the erasure
prevention switch of the "MG Memory Stick" to OFF

Do not remove an "MG Memory Stick" while the LED
is on or is f/ashing. Data may be damaged.
l
Jhe fo//owing tracks cannot be p/ayed back:
-A track with p/ayback count restriction
-A track whose a//owab/e p/ayback period has
expired
-A Pack with a p/ayback period /imit when the clock
on the unit has not been set
l
Check-Out cannot be carried out if an "MG Memory
Stick" is fu// or the number of Checked-Out tracks in
an "MG Memory Stick" has reached the limit
l
On/y the Packs that can be Checked-Out are
disp/ayed in the //St.
l
Jhe folowing tracks cannot be Checked-Out
-A track whose a//owab/e number of Check-Out
count is 0 (zero)
-A Pack whose playback period has expired
l
A track recorded from a CD can be Checked-Out LID
to 3 times.
l
Jhe Check-Out count is disp/ayed as follows:

times or more), J-j (twice or more), j (Once),
no display (zero).
Rotate the R dial to select "Check
Out," then press the Fi dial.
Rotate the R dial to select "Check
Out," then press the R dial.
Rotate the R dial to select the track
you want to Check-Out, then press the
R dial.
The selected item is marked with "4 ."
In the default setting, all tracks are
selected in
the track name list.
To select specific tracks, press m
(ALL) to
cancel the selection first.
To cancel the item being selected. press the R
dial again.

Jhe unit c/oses the front pane/ automatically after
inserting the "MG Memory Stick" to prevent the data
being damaged whfle accessing.
l
You can Check-Out up to 400 tracks to an "MG
Memory Stick."
l
A track can be Checked-Out severa/ times io the
same "MG Memory Stick."
l
Jhis unit supports the folowing bit rates:
- Stereo: 176Kbps, 146Kbps, 132Kbps 105Kbps,
94Kbps 66Kbps
Repeat step 5 to select all the tracks
you want to Check-Out.
Press a
(START).
Check-Out starts.
The normal display appears after Check-Out
has been completed.

To cancel Check-Out
Press a
(CANCEL).
