Erasing audio files in an "MG
Memory Stick"

You can delete unwanted audio files to
effectively free space on an "MC Memory
Stick."

Press [W)
repeatedly to select
"MEMORY STICK."
Press the R dial to display the track
name list.
Rotate the R dial to select the track
you want to erase, then press @BjD.
Rotate the R dial to select "Erase,"
then press the R dial.
The confirmation dialog appears.
Rotate the R dial to select "OK," then
press the R dial.
Press m.
The normal display appears.
To cancel erasing
Select "Cancel" in step 5
Note
The erased contents are temporari/y saved in the
Recyde 6in fo/der.
in the event that you choose not to permanently erase
an item in the Recyc/e Bin fo/der, it can be moved from
the Recyc/e Bin (page 32).
Contents erased from the Recycle Bin are
permanent/y erased from the HDD.
Once you erase the item, you cannot restore it. Make
sure the item you want to erase before erasing.
Formatting an "MG Memory
Stick"
You can initialize an .'MG Memory Stick" ol'a
different format or in
an

condition
and
make it

Edit," then press the R dial.
Rotate the R dial to select "Format,"
then press the R dial.
The confirmation dialog appears.

press the R dial.
Formatting starts.
The normal display appears after formatling
has been completed.
To cancel formatting
Select "Cancel" in {tep 5.
