Erasing audio files in
Network Walkman
- Erase function
You can delete unwanted audio files to
effectively free space on Network Walkman.
MENU

Display the source list. (page 16)
2 Rotate the R dial to select "l/O," then
press m.
The menu display appears.
3 Rotate the R dial to select "Erase."

then press the R dial.
The confirmation dialog appears.
Rotate the R dial to select "OK," then
press the R dial.
Press w.
The normal display appears.
To cancel erasing
Select "Cancel" in step 5

The erased confents are temporari/y saved in fhe
Recyde Bin folder
/n fhe event that you choose not fo permanent/y erase
an item in the Recyc/e Bin fo/de< it can be moved from
the Recycle Bin (page 32).
Contents erased from fhe Recyc/e Bin are
permanently erased from the HDD.
Once you erase fhe item, you cannot restore it. Make
sure the item you want fo erase before erasing.
Formatting a Network
Walkman
You can initialbe a Network Walkman of a
different format or in an unusual condition and
make it usable.
MENU
Display the source list. (page 16)
Rotate the R dial to select "l/O," then
press m.
Rotate the R dial to select "Format,"
then press the R dial.
The confirmation dialog appears.
Rotate the R dial to select "OK," then
press the R dial.
Formatting starts.
Press m.
The normal playhack display appears.
To cancel formatting
Select "Cancel" in step 4.
