Radio
The unit can store up to 20 FM, 10 MW and 10
LW stations.
Caution
When tuning in stations while driving, use the
Best Tuning Memory to prevent accidents.
Storing stations
automatically
— Best Tuning Memory (BTM)
The unit selects the stations with the strongest
signals within the selected band, and stores them
in the order of frequency during MW/LW
reception, or when AF is set to "AF Off" during
FM reception. The unit stores RDS station in the
order of PI code when AF is set to "AF On"
during FM reception (see "RDS" on page 28).

Rotate the R dial to select "Preset
Edit," then press the R dial.

Rotate the R dial to select "B.T.M.,"
then press the R dial.
B.T.M. starts.
The normal reception display appears when
station is stored.
Notes
• If only a few stations can be received due to weak
signals, some stored numbers will retain their former
settings.
• When a number is indicated in the display, the unit
starts storing stations from the one currently
displayed.
• When MW/LW reception has been cancelled, "MW" /
"LW" is not displayed while you are selecting the
source. To activate the MW/LW reception, set "MW/
LW Skip" to "Off" (page 57).

Erasing the stored station
1 During radio reception, press the R
dial.
The preset station name list appears.
2 Rotate the R dial to select the
station you want to erase, then
press (MENU).
3 Rotate the R dial to select "Erase,"
then press the R dial.
4 Rotate the R dial to select "OK,"
then press the R dial.
The selected station is erased.
5 Press (F3) (
The normal reception display appears.
To cancel erasing
Select "Cancel" in step 4.
