ADJUSTMENT OF WIND DIRECTIONd
• Be sure to draw a line about the use of the flap between cooling and heating operation in order to increase
the cooling/heating effect.
• When the air conditioner stops, the flap (adjustment plate of up/down wind direction) directs upward auto-
matically.
• In heating operation, when starting the operation/executing defrost operation or when the room temperature
has reached the set temperature, the fan stops or the wind volume becomes less extremely and the flap
directs upward.
• In this time, if you set the swinging operation or the wind direction, the setup contents are displayed on the
remote controller but the flap does not move as it directs upward.
• When starting the usual heating operation which blows hot air, the flap directs toward the setup wind direction.
How to set up the wind direction

SWING/FIX

The wind direction changes for every push of the button.
In HEAT operation
Direct the flap (adjustment plate of up/down
wind direction) downward.
If directing at upward, hot air
may not come to the foot.
How to start swinging
