See the adjusting part location diagram from on page 6-8 for the
adjustment.

PREPARATION BEFORE ADJUSTMENT

The measuring instruments used for this alignment include:

Monitor TV

Oscilloscope, dual-trace, bandwidth above 30 MHz with delay
mode (Unless specified otherwise, use a 10 : 1 probe.)

Frequency counter

NTSC pattern generator
5)
Remote commander
5)
Digital voltmeter
6)
Audio generator
7)
Audio level meter
8)
Audio distortion meter
9)
Audio attenuator

10) Alignment tape

Equipment Connection

Unless specified otherwise, connect the measuring instrument as
shown in the following diagram.

Setup for adjustment

Because the video signal obtained from the pattern generator is used
as the adjustment signal for adjustments, the video output signal
must satisfy the given specification.
Connect the oscilloscope to VIDEO LINE-1 IN terminal, and check
that the amplitude of sync signal is approximately 0.286 V, the
amplitude of the video section is approximately 0.714 V and the
amplitude of burst signal is approximately 0.286 V.
The video signal used for adjustments is shown in Fig. 6-2-2.
