REVENTIVE
Preventive Maintenance Item
Any items found to be deficient during the preventive maintenance re-
view should be repaired or replaced. All fluids found low should be
topped off.
Perform daily pre-operation checklist (see Operations Manual)
Change engine oil and replace filter
Change transmission fluid and replace filter
Change power steering fluid and replace filter
Inspect steering linkage and grease ball joints
Inspect and grease front axle
Check coolant level
Flush coolant
Check and clean radiator fins
Inspect coolant hoses
Adjust tension of belts
Inspect belts
Inspect fuel system for leaks
Replace fuel filter
Drain fuel/water separator
Clean fuel/water separator
Replace lubricity filter (if equipped)
Inspect/replace
air cleaner element
Lap intake/exhaust valve seats (Contact engine service provider)
Adjust intake/exhaust valve clearance (Contact engine service provider)
Inspect and clean crankcase breather
Inspect, clean, and check injection nozzles
Inspect electrical wires and connections
Inspect battery cables
Inspect throttle cable assembly (Tier II only)
Check brake fluid level
Inspect/replace front brake pads/rotors
Inspect/replace rear drum brake shoes/linings
Inspect brake lines and hoses
Re-torque suspension u-bolts, 80 ft-lbs
Inspect axle shaft u-joints
Grease driveshaft u-joints
Re-torque 3/8-24 spindle nuts, 40 ft-lbs
Rotate tires
Re-torque lug nuts, 100 ft-lbs
