Attention: Make sure that the cable is not pinched and does not cover any
connectors or obstruct any components on the system board.
6. Disconnect the cable from the connector on the battery.
Note: You don't have to disconnect the cable from the flash power module.
7. Lift the battery or flash power module up to remove the it from the holder.

Use this information to replace a RAID adapter battery or flash power module.
About this task
When you install any RAID adapter that comes with batteries or flash power
modules, it is sometimes necessary to install the batteries or flash power modules
in another location in the server to prevent the batteries or flash power modules
from overheating. Depending on your server model, a battery or flash power
module must be installed remotely near the optical drive cage or the backplane.
The 2.5-inch server models support up to two batteries or flash power modules.
