Reverse this procedure to install the audio board.
Power cable
The power cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 684633-001.
Before removing the power cable, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet,
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the following components:

Bottom door (see

Keyboard (see

Top cover (see

Speaker (see

Fan (see
Remove the power cable:
1.
Position the computer upright.
2.
Disconnect the cable from the bottom of the system board (1).
3.
Lift the power cable assembly from the computer (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the power cable.
