Wireless Setting
You can make settings for a wireless LAN network when the optional wireless LAN cable set (OT-
WL01) is used.

Initially, Authentication Method is set to Open System and Security Mode is set to None with
the TM-i firmware Ver.2.0 or later. To ensure security, be sure to change the settings before
use.
The following restrictions apply to the characters that can be specified for SSID, WEP keys,
and WPA/WPA2 pre-shared keys.
Before TM-i firmware Ver.3.0: English alphanumeric only
TM-i firmware Ver.3.0 or later: ASCII characters, excluding spaces
Sets the communication mode.
Sets the SSID.
Sets the ad-hoc channel. (Available only in the ad-hoc mode)
Sets the communication standard.
Sets the authentication algorithm.
Sets the encryption algorithm.
Sets the WEP key to use.
Sets the WEP key 1 when [Security mode] is set to [WEP].
Sets the WEP key 2 when [Security mode] is set to [WEP].
Sets the WEP key 3 when [Security mode] is set to [WEP].
Sets the WEP key 4 when [Security mode] is set to [WEP].
Enter the pass phrase of the pre-shared key when [Security mode] is set to
"WPA" or "WPA2".
Submits settings to the TM-T88V-i.
