    The Quick Track app allows you to stream maps and also download maps. Streaming is recommended for getting familiar with the Omni system before you hunt. While you are at home on WI-FI you should preload or download the map for the area you plan on hunting.

    What is dead reckoning? Dead reckoning determines your dog’s satellite position by calculating the direction and distance your dog has traveled when satellites are obstructed. Do I have to have a smartphone or tablet? Yes. A smartphone or tablet is required in order to use the quick track app which is your interface for tracking your dogs.

    Touch “Add Hunt Location” Step 10 IMPORTANT NOTE: Stream Map is used for getting familiar with OMNI system. Preload Map should be used for an actual hunt and must be downloaded while on WI-FI prior to the hunt. When selecting preload map make sure hunt location address or GPS coordinates is near the center of the hunt location.

    Quick Track app and power the receiver off. To force close the app on an iphone double press circle home button then find the Quick Track app and swipe up. To force close the app on an android press the double squares on the screen and swipe left.
