Where Should I put the SolarArc? • Choose a hard, level surface. • The unit(s) should never be placed on a roof, or any structure. • Install SolarArc on the ground in a location where it will receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. •...

2. Remove protective film from glazed clear cover. 3. The header with the labels “From Filter” and “To Pool” is the front end - the one that will be set on the ground. 5. Wrap ample amounts of Teflon tape (provided) on the ends of all four threaded headers and pipe adaptors. 6. Thread pipe adaptors to 1 ⁄ ” pvc coupling. Attach coupling and pipe adaptor to front/lower headers. Hand tighten, then use a channel lock to further tighten by a half-turn. 7.

8. Plug return fitting in pool to ensure no water loss when disconnecting hose from return. 9. Make sure filter is turned off so no water flows out of the filter when disconnecting return hose from the swimming pool return and connecting to the SolarArc. 10.

11. Take the hose end removed from pool return and connect to hose adaptor attached to the header labelled “From Filter”. Tighten hose clamp with screwdriver. 12. Connect provided flex hose to the end labeled “To Pool” and the opposite end to the return fitting. Tighten hose clamp with screwdriver.

13. Use 2 of the 4 metal stakes provided to secure the rear of the unit by inserting the curved end into the holes near the bottom of the legs, and then secure them by pushing the legs into the ground. Metal Stake Metal Stake 14.
Multiple SolarArcs can be installed in series for larger pools and/or for more rapid heating. To connect multiple units together, use the provided rubber hose and hose clamps to join the SolarArcs together at the lower end. From the first SolarArc’s output (labeled “To Pool”) use the rubber hose connector and 2 hose clamps and connect to second SolarArc’s header near the label “From Filter”.
Winterization: YOUR SOLARARC MUST BE DRAINED FOR WINTERIZATION! FREEZE DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY! YOU MUST DRAIN YOUR SOLARARC JUST LIKE YOU DRAIN THE REST OF YOUR POOL EQUIPMENT!
