Appropriate Speaker
Settings Automatically

Calibration
DX) brings
you the ideal
sound
experience
by automatically
adjusting
the setting
of the speakers'
distance,
location,
and acoustic.
• The system outputs
a loud test sound
when [Auto Calibration]
starts. You
cannot turn the volume
down. Give
consideration
to children
and neighbors.
• Before [Auto Calibration],
make sure that
- all the speakers
are connected
to the
main unit and surround
amplifier.
- the surround
amplifier
is turned on and
you have installed
the surround
amplifier
in an appropriate
location
to
ensure wireless
connection
with it.

HOME,
The home
menu
appears
on the TV
screen.
Press _,/,_ to select
_
[Setup].
Press _/4
to select
[Audio
Settings],
then
press
[3.
Press _/4
to select
[Auto
Calibration],
then
press
[_]iI.
The ]Select
speaker
layout.]
display
appears.

to select
setting
according
to your
speakers
placement,
then
press
_.
• ]Standard]:
The surround
speakers
are installed
in the rear
position.
• [All Front]:
All speakers
are
installed
in the front
position.
The confirmation
display
for [Auto
Calibration]
appears.
Connect
the calibration
mic to the
A,CAL MIC jack on the rear panel.
Set up the calibration
mic at ear
level using
a tripod,
etc. (not
supplied).
The calibration
mic
should
aim the TV screen.
The front
of each speaker
should
face the
calibration
mic, and there
should
be
no obstruction
between
the
speakers
and the calibration
mic.
Press _/4
to select
[OK].
To cancel,
select
]Cancel].
Press _.
[Auto
Calibration]
starts.
The system
adjusts
the speaker
settings
automatically.
Be quiet
during
the measurement.
While [Auto Calibration]
is in progress,
do not operate the system.
Confirm
the result
of [Auto
Calibration].
The distance
and level for each
speaker
appear
on the TV screen.
• If measurement
fails, follow
the
message then
retry [Auto
Calibration].
• If no center speaker
is detected,
the
[Center Speaker] will be
automatically
set to [Off].
