When the headlamps are turned off by the au-
tomatic on/off control with the ignition
switch in the "ON" position, the front fog
lamps (if so equipped) and rear fog lamp also
go off. When the headlamps are subsequent-
ly turned back on by the automatic on/off con-
trol, the front fog lamps also come on but the
rear fog lamp stays off. If you wish to turn
the rear fog lamp back on, operate the switch
again.

Do not cover the sensor (A) for the automat-
ic on/off control by affixing a sticker or label
to the windscreen.

If the lamps do not turn on or off with the
switch in the "AUTO" position, manually op-
erate the switch and we recommend you to
have your vehicle checked.
Vehicles with Daytime Running Lamp*
When the engine is running and the lamp switch is
set to the "AUTO" or "OFF" position, the low
beam of the headlamps, tail lamp etc., will illumi-
nate.

The daytime running lamp can be deactivated.

If, while the lamp switch is in the "
tion, the ignition switch is turned to the
"LOCK" position or "ACC" position, or the
key is removed from the ignition switch, the
lamps automatically go out when the driver's
door is opened.
[When the engine was started using the key]
• If the key is removed and the driver's
door is opened, a buzzer sounds at a high
pitch intermittently to remind the driver
to turn off the lamps.
[When the engine was started using the key-
less operation function]
• If the ignition switch is turned to the
"LOCK" position and the driver's door is
opened, a buzzer sounds at a high pitch in-
termittently to remind the driver to turn
off the lamps.

If the ignition switch is turned to the
"LOCK" position or "ACC" position, or the
key is removed from the ignition switch,
while the lamp switch is in the "

nutes while the driver's door is shut and will
then automatically go out.

The lamp auto-cutout function can also be dis-

ized Service Point. On vehicles equipped
with Mitsubishi Multi-Communication Sys-
tem (MMCS), screen operations can be used
to make the adjustment. Refer to the separate
owner's manual for details.
When you want to keep the lamps on:
1. Turn the lamp switch in the "OFF" position
while the ignition switch is in the "LOCK"
or "ACC" position.
2. Turn on the lamps with the switch in the
