    Operation tips Menus The user interface of the commercial dishwasher is divided into menus. The menus are displayed in a 3-line display on the control panel. If the door is opened during operation all functions are automatically interrupted (see "Operation, Interrupting a program").

    Filling the salt container Reactivation In order to achieve good cleaning results, the dishwasher water needs to be softened. The water is softened automatically in the water softener. Dishwasher salt is required for reactivation and the degree of water hardness must be set on the dishwasher to ensure problem-free functioning of the water softener (see "Additional settings, Water hardness").

    Filling the salt container Only a few more program cycles are possible, depending on the program selected and the water hardness set. The dishwasher is locked against operation if additional program cycles are run without salt being refilled.     Operation Adding detergent Only use detergent for commercial or residential dishwashers. The detergent can be dispensed in powder form via the powder detergent dispenser or in liquid form via the G 60 DOS module (Optional accessory - see "DOS module"). Never use detergent tablets.

    Operation Dispensing Always follow the recommendations of the detergent manufacturer.  There are markings to assist with dispensing: 20, 40. The marks indicate a level of approx. 20 or 40 ml (0.7 oz or 1.3 oz) when the door is open in the horizontal position. They also indicate the approx. level in grams (depending on the manufacturer and the coarseness of the agent).

    (DOS modules) can be connected for dispensing liquid process chemicals. The DOS module comes with a separate installation manual.
