Section 3 - Configuration
Firewall
A total of 24 fire wall rules may be created which dictate how specific traffic
should be allowed or denied to pass through the firewall.
Rules:
Name:
Enter a descriptive name for the firewall rule.
Source
Select the source interface, either WAN or LAN traffic.
Interface:
Source IP
Input the source IP address, or IP address range to apply the rule to.
Address
Destination
Select the destination interface, either WAN or LAN.
Interface:
Destination
Input the IP address, or IP address range to apply the rule to.
IP Address
Action:
Select to Allow or Deny transport of the data packets according to the
criteria defined in the rule.
Protocol:
Select the transport protocol that will be used for
the filter rule: TCP, UDP, ICMP, or ALL.
Port Range:
Enter the desired port range for the filter rule.
