Triggering
If a detector is triggered when
the system is fully armed, the
outside siren and internal
screamer will sound for 3
minutes or until the system is
disarmed (which ever occurs
first). Each detector zone can
only trigger the siren once in
one arming period, as per
Australian Standards
requirements.
When an alarm is triggered, a
text message is sent from your
main control unit to each of
your 'written in' phones –
details of the zone in which the
system was triggered are also
provided in the message.
Arming the system in this
mode will enable only Zone 1
(default), unless other extra
detectors that have been
programmed to trigger the
alarm in HOME mode. When
any home mode detectors are
triggered in this mode after the
30-second exit delay the
internal screamer will beep 5
times.
Triggered via use of Panic
Button or SMS command
'PANIC.'
Panic mode can also be
triggered by holding down
button 1 of your remote for 3
seconds.
