Adjustment purpose
To adjust the timing of the C/W segment (R, G, B, and W) and that of the
DMD driving signal.
Symptom when
Incorrect color. For example, the pure red is displayed with a tinge of pink
incorrectly adjusted
or orange.
This item is automatically set on this projector so it isn't necessary to adjust because
C/W Delay value is stored in the color wheel memory in the optical unit.
Check of the chromaticity
* Input the adjustment command using alphanumeric characters in uppercase.
1. Connect the projector to a personal computer (with Microsoft
XP Operating System pre-installed). (See the connection diagram.)
2. Start up Microsoft
3. Start up "HyperTerminal," which is the communication program of Microsoft
®
Windows
95/98/Me/XP, and open the window. (See the settings of HyperTerminal.)
4. Input an XGA signal (red signal, No. 2).
5. Measure the red chromaticity on the center of the screen. The proper value range is
as follows.
Rx ≥ 0.600
0.300 ≤ Ry ≤ 0.400
