Damaged or loose
Check the SAS-bus cables and connections.
SAS cables
ESM failure
Use the system-management software to check the
SAS-bus status. Replace the ESM. See "Replacing
an ESM" on page 24.
Midplane failure
Have the EXP3000 serviced.
Power supply
Make sure that the cables are connected and the
power supplies are turned on.
Hardware failure
If any other LEDs are lit, have the EXP3000
serviced.
Defective ac or dc
Check the ac or dc power source. Secure all
power source or
installed power cables and power supplies. If
partially connected
applicable, check the power components (power
power cable
supply units, uninterruptible power supply, and so
on). Replace defective power cables.
Power supply
Check for a fault LED on the power supply and
failure
replace the failed power supply. See "Replacing a
hot-swap power supply" on page 26.
Midplane failure
Have the EXP3000 serviced.
SAS cable
Make sure that the SAS cables are undamaged and
properly connected. Replace the cable.
ESM failure
Have the EXP3000 serviced.
Midplane failure
Have the EXP3000 serviced.
