Set a source address for the tunnel.

tunnel source {ip-address | ipv6–address | interface-type-
number }
To delete the current tunnel source address, use the no tunnel source
command.

Usage
If you have configured a tunnel interface or destination address, the tunnel source

must be compatible for this command to function. If you configure the tunnel
source address as an interface, the tunnel does not function unless a compatible
address is present on the specified interface.
If you configure the tunnel source address as tunnel source interface, the
lowest address is used. This address is not changed even if you configure a lower
address on the selected interface. To change the selected address, reload or
recreate the tunnel or remove the selected address from the interface.

Enter the source IPv4 address in A.B.C.D format.
Enter the source IPv6 address in X:X:X:X::X format.
For a 1–Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
GigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
For a Port Channel interface, enter the keyword port-
channel. The range is from 1 to 512.
For a 10–Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
For a 40–Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
For a VLAN interface, enter the keyword vlan then a
number from 1 to 4094.
