Removing and Replacing the Front Panel
The front panel must be removed to install or remove the hard disk drive and 5.25-inch
device.
Removing the Front Panel
1. Remove the right side door. See "Removing or Installing the Right Side Door"
on page 4
2. Pull the release tabs (3) at the left end of the front panel toward you so that the
tabs are removed from the frame of the server.
Only pull out the tabs a little.
Pulling out the tabs toward you excessively would damage the
hooks fixing the right end of the front panel.
3. Gently pull the right side of the front panel toward you in order to free three
more pop-in tabs.
