Parameters
{ipaddress <network_address> | state [enable |disable] | gateway
<ipaddr>}
Used to configure the out-of-band menagement settings.
config out_band_ipif {ipaddress <network_address> | state [enable |disable] |
gateway <ipaddr>}
This command is used to change out-of-band management settings. Out of Band
Management is a method to manage devices while sharing the network bandwidth
with other management traffic. Out of Band Management allows Management
packets and ARP requests to pass between the CPU and the management interface
while other packets will be dropped.
ipaddress <network_address> − The IP address of the interface, the parameter must
give the mask.
state [enable | disable] − Allows users to enable or disable the IP interface.
gateway <ipaddr> − Default gateway of out-of-band management networks.
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Use to display the current configurations of special out-of-band management
interface.
show out_band_ipif
The command is used to display the current configurations of out-of-band
management interface.
