Caution: ● Because of the different ingredients added into the rice, there may be scorched rice
at the bottom.
● When cooking red bean congee, the red bean skin may block the steam vent, further
leading to the unexpected opening of the outer lid, so please be careful.
 In this recipe, the cooking volume is for 1.8 L Model. Please refer to the specifi cations listed
on
P15 for cooking volumes for 1.0 L Model.
 1 cup (measuring cup): about 150 g.
Ingredients:
Rice
3 measuring cups
Water
4 measuring cups
Chicken
80 g
Burdock
35 g
Mushroom
2 pieces
Fried bean curd
2 pieces
Carrot
40 g
Cooking method:
1) Wash the rice. Put the washed rice into the pan and add 4 measuring cups of water.
2) Add the seasoning and mix, then add chicken, burdock, mushroom, fried bean curd, and carrot. Close the outer lid.
3) Select "White Rice" and press [Start] button.
Note
Cut the chicken into cubes and the burdocks into small slices, then put into water and scoop up.
Soak the mushroom then scoop up. Remove the stipe then cut into shreds. Rinse the fried bean curd with
hot water to remove oil, then cut into shreds.
Cut the carrots into shreds.
Please do not use timer function. (It might affect the cooking result.)
Ingredients:
Duck
Half (about 400 g)
White gourd
200 g
Salted pork (ham)
30 g
Ginger
Several slices
Water
4½ measuring cups
Cooking method:
1) Wash the duck and cut into chunks, cut the peeled white gourd into cubes and cut the ham into slices.
2) Place the duck cutlets into hot water for a while removing the bloody water, then scoop up and dry them and set
aside.
3) Put duck cutlets, white gourd cubes, ham slices, ginger slices, salt and cooking wine into the pan with 4½ measuring
cups of water and close the outer lid.
4) Select "Congee / Soup", set the cooking time at 2 hours and press [Start] button.
