Press RED button.
Switch between On and Off for the Signal
Booster setting for the selected channel.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set Signal Booster for
each channel.
Software Upgrade and Licences
• The Over-the-air Upgrade function is used when
a software upgrade is required for the TV in the
future.
NOTE:
• This function may not work depending on the
country selected for Country.
• The Over-the-air Upgrade may not function
correctly depending on the local area broadcasting
conditions, and the signal receiving environment.
Auto Upgrade
When Auto Upgrade is On, the television
automatically searches for upgrade information.
When new upgrade information is found, a
confi rmation screen is displayed.
• Automatic searching is not performed when the
television is in standby.

From the DTV Settings menu, press or to
select Over-the-air Upgrade menu and press
OK.

Press or to select Auto Upgrade.

Press or to select On or Off .
Searching for New Software
If preferred, software upgrades can be searched for
manually using Search for New Software.

From the DTV Settings menu, press or to
select Over-the-air Upgrade menu and press
OK.

Press or to select Search for New
Software.

Press OK. The television will automatically start
searching for a software upgrade, the progress
bar will move along the line.
If an upgrade is found, a message will be
displayed on the television. Follow the
instructions in the message. If no upgrades
are found, a screen will appear stating that no
upgrades are available.
NOTE:
Searching for software upgrades and upgrading may
take a long time.

Using the TV's features
Viewing the Software Licences
The licences for the software used in this TV are
available for viewing on screen.

From the SETUP menu, press or to select
Software Licences.

Press OK.
A screen will appear displaying all of the
licencing information required for the TV's
software.
Confi rming software version
For ATV

From the SETUP menu, press or to select
System Information.

Press OK to display the software version.
NOTE:
The software version displayed is just for the
illustration.
For DTV
This feature can be used to check the version of
software currently installed. When in DTV mode,
it includes additional diagnostic information such
as signal strength, signal quality, centre frequency,
modulation, etc
